My name is Barbara Finney and I would like to welcome you to CanningMoms.com.

CanningMoms.com is here to share home canning tips, recipes and facts about canning and preserving foods. Home canning is something I have done all my life as a hobby. I live in the south in a small town called Dallas, NC. We are about 30 minutes from Charlotte, NC. Farming, gardening and canning are agricultural activities that are popular through out the States.

I have recently retired from a nursing career and now looking to share my hobbies, recipes and tips with the world on the internet. If you are new to canning and preserving foods, you should be able to find many interesting articles, tips, and recipes related to canning that may help you get started. If you are an experienced canner, I would love to invite you to share your knowledge of canning as well as any recipes that you may have so that others can learn from the site.
